How Users Opt In

BEAMS SMS notifications are available only to authorized BEAMS users and organization-managed recipients. Users opt in from the authenticated BEAMS notification preferences experience or through an organization onboarding process that records consent for BEAMS text messages.

The BEAMS SMS program is operated by Sprayfoam Southwest, Inc. dba Global Roofing Group.

BEAMS and BEAMS.inc, including the beams.inc domain, are trademarks or service marks of Sprayfoam Southwest, Inc. dba Global Roofing Group.

The opt-in flow presents the phone number being enabled, the available BEAMS notification categories, and the SMS disclosure below before SMS notifications are enabled for that user or recipient.

Opt-In Disclosure

By enabling SMS notifications, you agree to receive recurring BEAMS text messages about weather alerts, episode status, monitoring updates, summaries, account notices, system notices, and billing notices when applicable. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See the BEAMS Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.

Message Types

  • Weather episode start warning notifications.
  • Critical weather episode notifications.
  • Warning and critical monitoring updates.
  • Episode completion notifications.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly weather episode summaries.
  • Account, system administration, and billing notices when applicable.

Example Messages

  • BEAMS: Critical weather alert at Roosevelt Elementary. Review the active episode in BEAMS.
  • BEAMS: Weather episode completed at Roosevelt Elementary. Final summary is available in BEAMS.
  • BEAMS: Your daily weather episode summary is ready. Open BEAMS to review monitored properties.
  • BEAMS: System notice. Your BEAMS account notification settings were updated.

Opt-Out And Help

Users can reply STOP to opt out of BEAMS SMS messages and HELP for help. Opt-out requests are honored for the phone number that sends the request. Users may also manage preferences in BEAMS when available to their account.
